1. General & Website Use
Agreement: These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“the User,” “you,” “your”) and Oases Maldives Pvt Ltd (“Oases,” “we,” “us,” “our”).
Eligibility: To place orders through this website, you must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a legally binding contract.
Account Responsibility: If you create an account on our website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose. You may not disrupt the website’s security, attempt to gain unauthorized access to its systems, or use it to transmit any harmful or malicious code.

2. Products & Services
Product Information: We strive to ensure that all product descriptions, images, and prices are accurate. However, we do not warrant that they are error-free, complete, or current. Colors may vary depending on your screen settings. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice.
Pricing: All prices are listed in Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR) and are inclusive of any applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST). Prices are subject to change without notice.
Availability: All products and services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit the quantity of products we supply, supply only part of an order, or divide up orders. We will inform you if we are unable to fulfill your order.
Veterinary Information: Any health-related information provided on this website is for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for a professional veterinary diagnosis or consultation. Always seek the direct advice of a qualified veterinarian with any questions you may have regarding a pet’s medical condition.

3. Live Animals & Plants
The sale of live animals (fish, invertebrates) and plants comes with special conditions due to their perishable nature.
Health & Appearance: We guarantee that all livestock and plants are healthy and in good condition when they leave our facility. Please note that the actual size, color, and appearance of live products may vary from the images on the website due to natural variations and lighting.
Live Arrival Guarantee: We offer a Live Arrival Guarantee on fish and plants under the following strict conditions:
You or a representative must be present to accept the delivery on the first attempt.
In the unlikely event of a Dead on Arrival (DOA), you must contact us within two (2) hours of receiving the delivery.
You must provide clear, unaltered photographic or video evidence of the deceased item in its original, unopened shipping bag.
Once the guarantee is approved, we will offer a replacement of the same item (if available) or refund. Shipping/deliveryĀ fees (if applicable ) are non-refundable.
No Returns on Livestock: Due to biosecurity reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on any live animals or plants once they have been delivered and accepted. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their aquarium or habitat is suitable for the new additions.

4. Ordering & Payment
Order Acceptance: Your placement of an order does not necessarily mean that we will accept your order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to product unavailability, errors in pricing, or suspicion of fraudulent activity. A binding contract is formed only when we have processed and dispatched your order.
Payment: We accept payments via BML Bank Transfer, MIB Bank Transfer, Cash On Delivery and other payment methods as indicated at checkout. Payment must be made in full before any order is dispatched.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Delivery Area: We provide delivery services within MalƩ, HulhumalƩ, and to designated ferry/boat terminals for atoll /resort transport.
Delivery Fees: Delivery fees will be calculated at checkout based on the delivery location and order size.Ā
Delivery Times: We aim to process and deliver orders promptly. Estimated delivery times will be communicated upon order confirmation but are not guaranteed.
Atoll Transport: For customers in other atolls, our delivery responsibility ends once the package is handed over to your nominated ferry, speedboat, or air cargo service in MalƩ. You are responsible for all associated transport fees from MalƩ to your island and for coordinating the collection of the package from the vessel. The risk of loss or damage, especially for live animals, passes to you once the package is handed over to the transport service.
Receiving Deliveries: You are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive the delivery at the specified address and time. This is critically important for live animal and plant orders.

6. Returns & Refunds
Non-Perishable Goods: If you are not satisfied with a non-perishable product (e.g., accessories, unopened food), you may request a return within 24hoursĀ of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition. A valid proof of purchase is required.
Defective Products: If an item is found to be defective upon arrival, please contact us immediately with proof of the defect. We will arrange for a replacement or refund at our discretion.
Exclusions: As stated above, no returns, refunds, or exchanges are accepted for live animals or plants (except under the Live Arrival Guarantee).
Refund Process: Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original method of payment or as store credit.

7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Oases Maldives Pvt Ltd and is protected by Maldivian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, modify any content without our prior written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oases Maldives Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this website or the purchase of products and services from us. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your purchase shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the product or service in question.

9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Maldives. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Maldives.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website. Your continued use of the website following such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
